John E. Kutzbach ( ) is an American climatologist.〔Sarah E. Metcalfe, David J. John Kutzbach and his co-authors led the way in exploring drivers of change in the monsoon using the NCAR CCM"〕 He is Professor Emeritus of Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences and Environmental Studies at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. He received a B.S. in Electrical Engineering in 1960 and a Ph.D. in Meteorology in 1966 from University of Wisconsin–Madison. His research has mainly involved using climate models to study past, present, and future climates. Among other awards and honors, he was elected as a member of the National Academy of Sciences in 2006 and received the Milankovitch Medal of the European Geophysical Society in 2001 and the Roger Revelle Medal in 2006. ==References==
